The future is digital, but it’s still unequal
By 2025, an estimated 149 million jobs will be created in fields like Software Engineering, Data Science, and Cloud Services. And with AI continuing to rapidly reshape the world, a strong digital foundation is a crucial part of any modern education.
But rapid advances in technology have only widened the digital divide. In Cameroon—where a majority of our work is done—only 30% of households have internet coverage, while a mere 24% own a computer. Ongoing political conflict has prevented over 600,000 students from accessing technology through labs at schools—placing an entire generation at risk.
Our mission is to provide these teenagers with a safe environment to continue their exploration of the digital world. We’re working to inspire confidence in technology; building a future in which it is accessible, usable, and life-changing for every teen.
